Newgene-US Bioengineering, a new division of The Carolen Group, has been formed as a US distributor of fast self-tests, testing equipment & supplies, general lab equipment and PPE in a quest to be a major part of the global effort to quell the current novel coronavirus pandemic…and, in that regard, to only distribute products that we feel are among the world’s best and can be offered at prices that are in the lowest price tiers, for that product, offered in the United States.
While we have searched the world to source virtually all of the various products required to quash the current Covid-19 pandemic, as well as all analytical laboratory equipment, our emphasis is primarily on three product classes: A) The best face masks; B) The best effective, but non-toxic, sanitizer/disinfectant and related equipment; C) The best fast, accurate, affordable & self-administrated diagnostic tests for Covid-19, etc.
Newgene-US is in negotiations to open a mask-making facility in the NW US, which will produce masks such as are not generally available in the US: Affordable; auto-form-fitting; functionality far in excess of the N95 standard; compostable material; permanently self-sanitizing without the use of toxic chemicals; and custom-printed at no extra cost.
Newgene-US has arranged for the import of our own brand of the only non-toxic disinfecting chemical that is as much as 100 times as effective as bleach against the novel coronavirus (covid: SARS2-CoV), yet is approved for use for fogging spaces while occupied. It is so safe that it is non-irritating on even a baby’s sensitive skin; and is even used for disinfecting wounds and for sanitizing foods without rinsing!
Our covid tests & testing supplies have received CE approval in the European Union as well as FDA EUA (emergency use authorization, or such approval is being sought. In most cases the approval that has been applied for is for self-testing authorization. When all factors are considered, there is no competition when accuracy, ease of use and price are considered. Our own “gold standard” package is our “Lab in a Bag”, with is a triple test for Covid & Influenza antigens, in which positive results would tend to indicate active, contagious condition(s), and Covid antibodies, which either confirm an active infections with Covid-19, or indicate a prior recovered infection. All of these test can provide conclusive results in 15 minutes, or so, at home, is a process that is almost “goof-proof”.
These tests, and our professional test supplies, are manufactured by Newgene (Hangzhou), Bioengineering in a plant that meets the highest WHO & other world standards including the GMP standards for medical devices, and is certified with ISO13485 system certification of the British BSI, with certified laboratory and production conditions. Its outstanding scientific research team includes 40% that hold positive senior titles and doctorate degrees in the fields of biology and computer science from high-end scientific research institution in Asia and Europe.
Relevant in vitro diagnostic reagent products have been registered in the British Medicines and healthcare products regulatory agency (MHRA), and obtained the EU CE certification.
