PRICING & DISCOUNT POLICY: In the PPE market, much “dirty business” & wild inflation of prices has been spawned, which takes advantage of desperate buyers. In response to this ugly situation, we have a goal of beating the pricing that others are charging and offering a uniform pricing policy that does not pit one buyer against another, in “bidding wars” when they are sourcing limited supplies. Our price targets are at least 20% below the lowest price others charge for substantially the same product. In fact, we are so focused on keeping prices affordable, that we will not offer a product if we can’t beat its average low market price
To prevent price-gouging by resellers, we offer products primarily to end-users to whom the products are shipped, directly from our sources. To be in compliance with US law, we consider ourselves to be importing facilitators/brokers, not wholesalers. By specifically not becoming a part of the chain of title, and not taking physical possession of the products, we are permitted to operate with having to comply with the complicated regulations that would, otherwise, require us to be an FDA-registered reseller of medical products that FDA controls. This, of course, does not prohibit us from the general sales of products that are not labeled as FDA compliant.
We also pledge not to raise our prices, simply because the average market price has gone up, if our own cost has remained level. As part of this uniform pricing policy, we offer discounts that are primarily based on order size, though we also try to accommodate discount for first-responders, non-profits & other institutions; taking recurring sales into account in regard to volume pricing. We also gladly share a % of the price with cooperating facilitators & referrers: 5% standard; 4% w/ 1st level discount; 3% for larger discounts.
RECURRING ORDER DISCOUNT POLICY & AVAILABILITY OF PRICE LOCKS:
Though our goal is to treat recurring orders as one large order, in regard to determining available discounts, each monthly quotation of the longer recurring order is treated as if it is a stand-alone order. This helps to “hold the line” on the costs, payments, deposits, and so on due & payable each month. However, you are advised, however, that for the most in-demand products, such as gloves, the manufacturer’s willingness to lock in prices is likely to depend the buyer’s willingness to pay up-front deposits on future monthly production and shipments. In the case of other products, with lower demand or larger manufacturing production capacity, price locks are less of an issue.
MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY;
Per manufacturer requirements, though pricing is often shown as “per box”, orders must be made for full cartons. In that regard, size/color or other specifications must also be for full cartons. The number of pieces/box, number of boxes/carton, are detailed on the price list. To minimize the chance or shipping damage, from shifting cargo, orders to be shipped by sea should be for full 20’ or 40’ containers.
Please note that this Is an extremely volatile market: Our goal is to maintain consistency in pricing, to the extent possible, as well as to offer the best prices on the market. To accomplish this, we strive to deal directly with manufacturers, to have multiple sources for each product and to constantly track which manufacturer has the best pricing at any one time. For this reason, we inspect for, and assure, compliance with particular certifications desired by the buyer…but we reserve the right to switch actual branding when that enables us to maintain the most consistent pricing. Ultimately, however, prices are subject to change w/o notice, as manufacturers hvae no control over their materials costs.
NOTES REGARDING SHIPPING & SERVICE/SHIPPING COSTS:
We have no control over 3rd-party service costs (ie: shipping, handling, warehousing etc) except to the extent that we often have multiple service providers and always do our best to obtain these services at the best current world pricing. Please note that orders are always insured for full value of product & costs for the entire period of shipment.
Average shipping transit times (“door to door”) are: Express (ie: UPS, DHL) 3-6 days; Regular Air Freight, 6-11 days; “Sea-Land” shipping, 11-28 days. Please note that transit times are “door-to-door”, but do not include pre-shipping lead times/delays such as result from the time needed for order production, the 5-day lead time before product compliance & shipping verification inspections.
To ensure a constant stock of products, but control shipping cost, we will gladly break up orders into multiple shipments, to be shipped via different means. In that regard, we suggest an express shipping limit of 20 cartons & regular air-freight limit of 50-500 cartons; with the balance “sea-land” shipped. [For example: an order for a 20’ container component, to be “sea-land” shipped; could include an additional 200 cartons shipped via regular air freight; and 20 cartons that are express-shipped.]
